Starting in January of 2011 Lighthouse Network will be providing a teen and young adult devotional twice a week. The devotional is entitled Solomon's Portico. The name is taken from Acts 5 it is the place that the gospel is preached infront of the multitudes by Peter and John are thrown into prison for healing a lame man. Solomon's Portico Devotionals are written by Frank Curran III that has a gift for sharing Gods truth in relevant and engaging ways. Solomon's Portico is specially designed to encourage you in the middle of your school week on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that you can stay on track and grow in your walk with God. According to study results released by the British medical journal The Lancet, alcohol beats out crack cocaine and heroin to rank as the most harmful drug overall. Dr. Karl Benzio is psychiatrist and executive director of the Lighthouse Network, an organization that offers treatment for mental health and addiction challenges."

Lighthouse Network is excited to announce that Karl Benzio M.D. will be a featured speaker at the AACC 2011 World Conference in Nashville, TN (Sept. 28 - Oct. 1, 2011). Karl will be presenting, "Addiction: Sin, Disease, or Personality Defect?" on Saturday, October 1st (Track #713, 2:15pm -3:30pm). Lighthouse Network will, also, be exhibiting at the AACC 2011 World Conference (Booth #422 & 424).
