Kelly Gaylor, R.N., M.Ed.

With a background as a registered nurse (graduated cum laude from Holy Family University), and possessing a Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology (graduated cum laude from Temple University), Kelly has been a practicing therapist since 1994.

Kelly has extensive experience in helping people to achieve cognitive/behavioral transformations, overcome addictions, develop family and interpersonal skills, increase self-awareness and personal growth, and to grow spiritually.

She has over seven years of specific experience as a therapist in the Drug and Alcohol field, both in an outpatient facility for over 3 years where she became Chairperson of Quality Assurance, and then for 4 years in a prison setting, where she addressed issues of addictions and criminal thinking/behavior.  Kelly is very caring, deeply spiritual yet down-to-earth, and straight-forward both with herself and with others.

Kelly has worked in depth with individuals (children and adults), couples or entire families, and in group settings, exploring a variety of issues, including:

  • substance abuse and addiction (and related issues)
  • relationship problems
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • anger
  • behavioral problems
  • self-esteem or lack of confidence
  • assertiveness training
  • decision making skills
  • thinking processes
  • finding one’s courage and inner strength
  • personal value systems
  • developing a more refined conscience
  • spiritual fulfillment
  • the process of self-forgiveness

At Lighthouse Network, Kelly serves as a life coach, seminar leader and intervention facilitator.

Additionally, Kelly has developed powerful and in-depth Drug and Alcohol Awareness Education Seminars.  These seminars are geared towards youth, parents, or professionals (therapists, pastors, educators, etc.) as separate programs.

Each program will be led by Kelly and will feature (when available) her guest speaker, a gentleman who was a former addict, now in recovery since 2005.  He had nearly 30 years of addiction to substances, and a history of criminal behavior related to substance abuse.  Upon re-discovering his relationship with God, he has worked diligently on his issues and errors in thinking.  He has led Bible study groups and been lead speaker at recovery groups.  His ideas, input and related materials will be featured throughout the seminars.

These seminars are quite different than typical Drug & Alcohol programs. More details can be obtained by contacting Kelly directly.
