So many people affected:

34% of US adults will suffer this year.  61% of US adults will suffer in their lifetime.
70%  of US people will have a parent, child, or sibling suffer with an addiction in their lifetime.
Suicide is the 3^rd leading cause of death in the US.

Shame and Stigma:

These are shocking numbers, but you rarely see a pin or ribbon for these issues.  Suffering in silence, shame, and embarrassment is the sad but usual scenario.

Why increase awareness:

Treatment is available and often more successful than for other illness like diabetes and cancer.

Our goal:

Educate the public about how many people in the Unites States will struggle this year or in their lifetime with a mental illness or addiction issue.  Then people will realize they aren’t the only one and will seek help to live the life God has for them.

The easy, inexpensive, and well received approach:

We’ve designed a couple bracelets that look great, wear well, and practically raise awareness.

Bracelet Design:

With each bracelet, the donor gets an insert explaining how the design and mental illness/addictions fit together.
Each bracelet has 11 different colored beads. Each bead represents a specific category of behavioral health illness.
The insert tells what the category is, which color of bead, what are some of the main illnesses in that category, and the number of people who will struggle with that issue.

How to Use the Bracelet:

The bracelet can be used to prompt you, as you look down at it, to think about, pray for, or call to encourage a friend or family member represented by one of the beads. Another use is when someone compliments or asks about the bracelet, it equips you to educate them about the unbelievable numbers of people and hopefully they will extend some help as well.

Plus, they are very fashionable using them as a regular bracelet!

Your money directly HELPS others:

The donation monies raised from these bracelets goes to helping people get the care they need. We have a free call center where people call in and we extend compassion and understanding, then help them understand their options and how to take the next steps in getting care.
