Skills that would benefit us include:
  • Finding the Christian counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, or other Christian mental health or addiction facilities, programs, or services in your area.
  1. Searching on the Internet, looking in local phone books, can do this and some areas have a Christian phonebook. Another way is calling regional churches and Christian schools and ask them who they refer situations needing mental health or addiction services.
  2. Then call us with those names, phone numbers, and email addresses(or websites) so we can contact them, let them know of our desire to help them find treatment for their patients in difficult situations, and also be able to put them in our database and refer to them
  3. If you know them personally, you can tell them who we are and get their information for us and enter it into the provider signup form.
  • Making Mental Illness/Addiction Awareness Bracelets – it is fun, easy, a great gift to others, raises awareness, puts you on the frontline of the fight against these issues, and it is therapeutic.  We will tell you how, where to get the materials, and when you sell them to friends and family members that might have struggled, you can donate the proceeds to Lighthouse Network.  It also makes a great fundraiser to do for a school project or Sunday School/Vacation Bible School.
